A Step Back in Time

History along mine creek

The Homestead is more than just a place to sleep. Mine Creek runs right through the property, and the land is rich with Civil War history. You will find historical markers as you walk around that give you a real look into the heritage of this region.

I did not expect the history here to be so interesting. The markers made our morning walks really special.
